Kane is the newest addition to our whippet family and, although we hadn't planned an addition this year, when I saw him I fell in love with him instantly. He is settling down well into our family and has already made an impression on Callie, Sienna and Spry!
Kane is a Lynperry puppy renowned for speed and stamina. These are ideal traits to complement our hobbies of racing and lure coursing and I am sure that when the time comes he will enjoy it as much as the girls do.
In the time he has been here, Kane has grown into a lovely dog. He has a wonderful temperament and fits in well with the girls. He loves spending time with them, especially when running through the woods.
What do you mean, "naughty"?
We have taken him along to racing every week so he can get used to the atmosphere and mix with others. As he got older, we started introducing him to the lure, firstly by letting him have a play with it, then progressing on to giving him short runs to chase which he has shown great keenness in. We are looking forward to carrying on his schooling. Hopefully he will become a valued club dog in the future.
